G is Playing Flag Football

Garrett started playing flag football. It's been really fun. The weather is so nice right now. (Sorry I always mention the weather. It's obviously a big deal to me. That's a major reason I live in St. George) He is quite the Quarterback!

Happy Birthday Bode!

Bode's 2!!! We had such a great time at his party. It was so cute and creative. The kids all got aprons to paint in. They painted the darling playhouse, and goal poles. Broke the cone pinata, ate dirt and ice cream, and had wonderful time. Thanks Heather and Bode!

Lion's Dixie Round Up

After the parade, we went to Cafe Rio and then the rodeo with the Poulsons. It was really fun. We go to see Grandpa Harry and his Mack truck. I can't believe that he can drive that thing after his accident. I guess he's feeling better. The rodeo was great. The bull riders were pretty awesome.

Rodeo Parade

We went to the Rodeo parade with the cousins, and the Poulsons. We had a good time, even though the parade was lacking.

Just goofing around

I have been trying to figure out how to make my pictures crisper with my camera. Any advice? Then, I had fun editing with the new Picasa version 3. It has some cool new stuff, like these mosaic collages.

Hightlight of the Week

The highlight of our week was the ride around St. George in an old salmon colored California city bus. TOP THAT!!! Gook and Kim showed up at Mom's after Sunday dinner and took us for a ride. See what you miss when you skip Sunday dinner,Annie!

Garrett is getting baptized

Today is the big day. I can't believe it. Garrett is getting baptized. I can't believe that he is that old. It sure makes me feel old. Everyone that would like to come is invited.

1st Day of PreSchool

Carly started preschool today. Ashlynn, Maesi, and Luke are in her class. She is so excited. She thinks that she is a big girl now, and so do I.

Labor Day

We had an interesting Labor Day. We went 4 wheeling up by Baker Reservoir. We had a great time. Sunday, my mom and my 80 year old Grandpa loaded the 4 wheelers. When my Grandpa was driving the 4 wheeler up the ramp into the truck, it tipped over and landed on him. My mom couldn't get it off him, and he had to crawl out from underneath. He said that he was fine and drove home. Needless to say, he ended up in the hospital with broken ribs, a collapsed lung, and a severed liver. We are sure worried about him. I know that he would have been mad if we didn't take the 4 wheelers after all. Of course, my Mom stayed here with him. Get well Grandpa Harry! We love you!

Boys Day Out Fishing

The boys went fishing up to Escalante, Upper Willow. They all caught lots of fish. They were really beautiful. Garrett was a bit of a sour puss. Especially when it started to rain.

Kaden got his Life

Kaden had a Court of Honor tonight. He earned 10 merit badges, advanced to the Life Scout rank, and got his On My Honor award. He is only 5 merit badges and 1 project away from his Eagle. He is right on track to have it by his 14th birthday in March. We are so proud of you Kaden!

Garrett the Bobcat

Garrett just turned 8, so now he is a cub scout. He was so excited, that he earned his Bobcat and 2 beads on his birthday!!!

1st Day of School

The 1st day of school. Kaden started 8th, Rileigh started 6th, Garrett started 2nd, and Carly is going to preschool. I can't believe how big they are!!

Hallie's party

We had a great time on Hallie's 2nd birthday. We went to the Bear Mill and made animals. Then we had a party at Hallie's house. It was a cute Minnie Mouse party.

Hallie is 2!

My niece Hallis is 2 today! She is such a sweet little doll! I don't know what my kids would do without "Goobers". (I don't know how she earned that nick name) She is a crowd favorite at my house. We love you little miss!

Garrett is 8!

Garrett turned 8 years old today. The cool thing this year is that he turned 8 on 08-08-08. Pretty cool. Grandma Wallis thought that it was so cool, she put him in the newspaper. It was really cute.
Garrett had a sleepover party. We played games and watched a movie on the wall. It was a great way to finsh off summer. Happy Birthday G! We love you!

Breaking Dawn

I loved this book! I loved the way she ended it with closure. She is an amazing writer.

Lagoon

We went to Lagoon over the weekend. We thought we'd have one last hoorah before school starts on Tuesday. We had so much fun. We haven't been to Lagoon for 2 years. It's a family favorite. Carly's favorite ride was puff the fire dragon rollercoaster, Garrett and Rileigh's was the scrambler, and Colby and Kaden's was the new Wicked ride. I am so glad that we got to go.
