Ice Skating
I took Carly, Garrett, and his friend Branson Ice Skating today. It was pretty fun. We were frustrated because since it was almost 70 degrees today, the ice wouldn't stay frozen. We had to leave and come back. We aren't super great ,since we only get to skate once or twice a year. We were getting the hang of it, though.

Rileigh is 14
Rileigh turned 14 today. Wow! That makes me sick. Anyway, we had a good time at her party. It was a Dance Party at Southwest dance. I was sure glad when Tanner showed up and got everyone dancing, after he put on a show, of course. We did a few Zumba dances, too. Good Times. Happy Birthday Rye!

Snow in Dixie?
This is what we woke up to this morning. We didn't even see it coming!
Carly was so excited to go the Luke & Hallie's and have Chad help them build a snowman. He was melting as we took the pic. Just the kind of snowmen I like!

New Years in Zion
We went up to Zion with the Turner's for New Years Eve. We stayed at Cable Mtn. Lodge. The rooms were amazing! We rode up through Zion and park and took tons of beautiful, snowy pics. Then, we had yummy cream of potato soup for dinner. We headed into town for the fire works. It was fun to listen to the echos boom through the canyon walls. After, we went to the Imax theater, and watched Narnia on the giant screen. We played games and partied til midnight. We had sooo much fun. {and froze our butts off}

Christmas
Christmas Eve at the Turners. The Awesome Elf brought us Awesome PJ's. We had a yummy candle light dinner. The entertainment for the evening were the great gifts that Annie and Greg gave each other. I don't want to see you wearing that Greg.
Lots of fun presents. Colby gave me a Kindle. Rileigh took a pic of me opening it while talking to Colby on Skype. We sure missed you this year, Colby. Thanks for the surprises! What a great Christmas this year.

Wii Tennis Tourney
Hopefully this is a start of a new tradition. Susie set up a Wii tennis tournament. We had a prize for the best tennis costume. Mom won that. I am sure the two pickle ball medals around her next and her visor helped. Some of us had never played before, and quickly were eliminated. We had trophies for the winners, Greg and Chads team took 1st. Kaden 1 and Kaden 2 took 2nd, and Susie and Rileigh took 3rd. So fun. We also had a smorgasboard of free pizzas thanks to Heather. They came from 3 or 4 different pizza places. What a fun idea. Thanks Sue!
Lunch with the Lundin Girls
Amy had us over to her house for a lunch with the ladies. It was so much fun. Susie is in town, and it was so good to get together, eat yummy food, and talk about old times. We'll have to do it again. We missed you Abby, Sherrie, Cathy, Laura, Tish, and Taisha. maybe next time.

Must Be Santa
Carly and Bode went to see Santa at our bank. He is such a cute and jolly Santa. My kids just love him. He lets them ask lots of questions and he answers them so creatively.
Nutcracker
We went to our annual tea party and Nutcracker. It was quite an adventure this year. After we took all of these fun pics, Hallie went running off and slipped on the wet floor. She fell and her tooth went through her lip. After a ton of bleeding, she finally sat down and enjoyed her first time to the Nutcracker.

I got this beautiful flower arrangement from Colby. I just love it! The Pine needles smell so delicious! The cute little Christmas house even lights up. I have never seen anything like it. Thanks Colby. I love you, too!

La Ragelles Camp
Carly and Hallie did the La Ragelles Dance Camp this week. They went Mon.- Thurs. and learned a cute dance, and had the performance tonight. They were so cute. After it was over, they just couldn't stop dancing and spinning in the commons area. Oh, to be young.
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...
Carly looked so cute for school today. I thought she looked quite Chistmasy. When she got home, I talked her into taking a few pics. In case you haven't noticed, she is about the only one of my kids that I can bribe into taking pics of.
