Family Night Ice Blocking

We had such a fun family night. We went ice blocking with the Poulsons. Everyone had a ball. We stayed well past dark. We could hardly get everyone to quit.

New Pics

Garrett's turning 8, so I had Malea take some birthday pics of him, and a few of all 4 kids. She is amazing! Thanks.

Pioneer Day

We had a great Pioneer Day. We went to the Bloomington Hills Stake Celebration. Carly and G were in the parade. Carly complained about being too hot a sweaty. She wouldn't have made a good pioneer. (Me niether) We had lots of fun there. After, we went to the Roadrunner game with Chad and Annie. The game was great, and the fireworks at the end were amazing! Happy 24th!

Fun in the Sun

I borrowed my aunt Laurie's slide for our primary activity. We had to try it out at home first. It was so much fun. The kids couldn't get enough. Thanks Jeff and Laurie!!

Sunday Morning

Carly looked so cute this morning for church. We went out front and took a few pictures. She is finally starting to pose for me, and smile for the camera. I can't believe how big she is getting.

Ashlynn's Birthday Party

Last week, Carly went to Ashlynn's birthday party. They had it at the red park. It was a princess party. She had lots of fun. Ashlynn got a Hannah Montana wig. Carly tried it on. She thought she looked rockin!

Camping in Pine Valley

We went up to Pine Valley on Sat. We met the Poulsons up there. We had a blast on their rope swing, playing games, and fishing. The lake is so beautiful. I think that Carly enjoyed the camping thing the very most. She thought she was in heaven.

Fireworks and Fun!

The evening of the 4th, we went to Annie's Sister-in-law, Stacie's house for swimming, BBQ, and fireworks. It was so nice, and the pool was perfect. This was the 1st year that Carly has watched the fireworks without crying, and the 1st time she has held a sparkler alone. She's getting so brave!

July 4th, Yankee Meadow

For the 4th of July, we went up to Yankee Meadow for a picnic and fishing. We went with Grandma Judy and Grandpa Garn, Chad and Annie, and Luke and Hallie. We had a lot of fun. It was 76 degrees up there. (Sorry that I always comment on the temperature) The kids had a ball fishing with their little poles.

We had a blast today playing at Grandma Judy's with her new caterpillar sprinkler. It felt so good!

Swim Lessons

Kaden, Rileigh, Garrett, Carly, Luke, and Hallie are taking swim lessons at Dixie College. It has been so great. They have learned so much. It's quite a relaxing 45 mins. for Annie and I. The teachers do all the work. Course sitting in the 109 degree heat is a little tiring.

Veyo with Grandma Judy

Friday, Grandma Judy took us up to veyo. Heather, Bode, Annie, Luke, and Hallie came, too. We had so much fun. The Kids caught lots of crawdads. I think that Hallie and Bode enjoyed the creek the most. They got right in! The ice cream machine is still broken. Some of the kids got some not so frozen ice cream bars. Hallie really enjoyed hers.

We went to Quail Lake on Monday with the Poulsons. We had so much fun. The kids loved fighting the tube, so did the big boys. Garrett even tried to get up on the wake board. He was awesome. We had a great time.

Doggie Paddle

We blew up the pool the last two days. Everytime we'd go inside, when we came out, we'd find Nana in the pool. She must have been as hot as us. It was only 108 degrees today!

Fishing, Round 2

Colby didn't get enough fishing in last weekend, so he went again this weekend, only alone. Not cool, I think. Notice the "Bear Country" sign in the middle. That must be why I had dreams about bears while he was gone. He did catch a gigantic tiger trout. Course, he didn't have his camera with him in his float tube.

Pine Valley

It's that time of year again, when we travel to the mountains watching the thermostat in the car go from 106 down the 86 degrees, cheering each time it drops. The kids loved playing in the icy cold creek. It's so beautiful up there. We just love spending time in Pine Valley. We missed Heather and Bode. Maybe next time.

G's last baseball game

Garrett did great in his last baseball game of the season. He hit everytime, and ran some tricky zig zag runs to get home. He was awesome!!
