First Night

We had a great time on New Years Eve. We did our traditional thing. We went to First Night on Main Street. The kids had fun on the rides. Then, we went and played games at the Wallis' until midnight. The kids favorite game is Speak Pig. (The game with the blind fold and stick) Thanks for all of the fun!!

Rec Center

The kids were starting to go stir crazy. I think it's one of the coldest Christmas's that St. George has seen. At least I think so. 36 degrees for the high. Anyway, we have a year pass to the Washington Rec. Center. So, we all went and spent a few hours over there. They rock climbed, swam, shot some hoops. I sat and watched from the chair in my warm clothes. I don't believe in swimming in the winter, even indoors. But, the kids and Colby didn't mind.

Christmas Eve with the Turners

We spent Christmas Eve with the Turners. We had a yummy meal, and of course, that sneeky elf came. This year he brought everyone a flashlight. The kids really liked them. The adults got emerency ones with radios and cellphone chargers. Thanks ELF!!

Santa

We went to see Santa at my Credit Union. He was the most awesome, most real Santa I have ever seen. He is the one that is at the Dicken's fesival. He told the funniest stories. When is was Hallie's turn she said,"Ho Ho, cheese." and pointed to the camera. It was so cute. Garrett changed his wish list on Santa's lap. Can you do that?

Nutcracker

The annual tea party/Nutcracker. Mom, Heather, Annie, Rileigh, Carly and I had a good time. Loved the hot chocolate and yummy treats. But, It was so cold inside the ballet. They had the air conditioning blowing all night. The most exciting part was when my mom ( a principal) got a call from the district that school was canceled tomorrow for a SNOW DAY! Yep! in St. George. CRAZY!!

Carly's Christmas Dance Recital

Carly's had her Christmas dance recital for SouthWest Dance Company. It was out at Tuacahn. We had a little surprise on the way out there. It snowed!! Yes, in St. George!! Anyway, She did so good. They danced to The First Noel. I guess they were sheep following the 3 shepards (the big girls). It was so cute. When she was done she asked, "Where are my flowers?" It's a good thing that Dad and Grandma Wallis brought her some. She had tons of family there to support her. Thanks everyone!!

Turner Family Pics

Malea took our family pictures. Boy, It's hard to get all those people to look at the camera at the same time. I think they turned out good, though. I like the candidness, not so posed. Don't we have a cute family?!

Faith Party

Carly went to Faith's Birthday party. It was Tinkerbell. The little girls all looked so cute. They had a sprite and berry punch that they added pop rocks to. It was so cool to drink. It popped all the way down your throat. Afterwards, I took the whole family back over, and we watched the Boxing Match on pay-per-view with the Clines and Woods. It was fun!

Garrett's BB

Today was Garrett's first basketball game. He was a little nervous. He has never played before. We had to go to the Washington Rec. Center, because St. George City doesn't start til 3rd grade. It's okay though, that building is so nice. Anyway, He did awesome. He really hustled and handled the ball alot. His team didn't win, but they did great. They improved from the 1st period to the 4th. It was impressive.

Queen Elizabeth in the Wax Museum

Rileigh was Queen Elizabeth in the wax museum at school today. They had to write a biography on their person and dress up like them. She begged me to make her this dress. When we went today, you pushed a button and they would move and tell you a bit about themselves. It was really neat. What a creative teacher.

Twilight the Movie

Colby and I went to Twilight, Friday night. We loved it. It was fun to see the characters on the big screen. They sure skipped through the story, but I guess you can only get so much in in 2 hours.
