Quail Lake with YW

We went to Quail Lake last night with the Young Women. Garrett had to bring some friends so he wouldn't be the only boy. Roasting hot dogs on the beach and the yummy food was a definate highlight. Everyone had a good time. They even knocked G, Luke, and Branson of the tube.

Jaxons big cheeks!

We took Jaxon outside to try to get a pic of his darling big smile. No such luck! He was too distracted out there for us. Next time!!

Happy 24th!

We had a fun water/BBQ/fireworks party at Grandma Judy's. It was such a nice day. Overcast and not too hot. The kids had fun sliding on the slip and slide, and sliding down the slide into the frog pool. We had yummy red, white, and blue desserts. The fireworks were great, too. This was the first year that Carly wasn't scared of them. She actually held a sparkler by herself! Nice job Carly.

Happy 30th Melanie!

I made Melanie a 30th birthday cake. We took it over to her house. She of course invited us to stay and eat it. We thought we'd leave the 30 suckers on it and lit candle on the lower level. Yah, way smart. The wrappers started on fire. I hope you have an awesome day Melanie!

Swim, swim, swim...

Grandma Judy got a new boat that we had to try out at Bode's pool. It was way too fun! Here are the pics from the last day of swim lessons. Lots of cool jumps off the diving board. Nice job Luke and Carly!

Turner Reunion 2010

We got to go to the Turner family reuinion in Park City this year. Heather, kids, and I went with Grandma Judy and Grandpa Garn. We went to Aunt Diane and my cousin Nyleen's cabins. It was amazing. We felt like we were at a resort. The kids ran free in their yards, played on the swingset, tramp, river walk, and woods. A favorite was Thea's treehouse that reminded me of Tarzan's. We ran into snakes, made hot dogs and s'mores over a HUGE fire pit, and did sparklers.
I was in heaven! There were so many wonderful photo spots. I took tons of pics, and the kids barely noticed. We went to a Park City Style 4th of July parade, and got to go to the OneRepublic concert outdoor at Deer Valley. I made mom stop to take pics by the barn. I have always wanted to take some there, but I hardly ever take my kids with me to Park City. We also managed to cool off....alot! Boy it was cold up there! Sunday It was in the 40 and 50's.
