Christmas

Christmas Eve at the Turners. The Awesome Elf brought us Awesome PJ's. We had a yummy candle light dinner. The entertainment for the evening were the great gifts that Annie and Greg gave each other. I don't want to see you wearing that Greg.
Lots of fun presents. Colby gave me a Kindle. Rileigh took a pic of me opening it while talking to Colby on Skype. We sure missed you this year, Colby. Thanks for the surprises! What a great Christmas this year.

Wii Tennis Tourney

Hopefully this is a start of a new tradition. Susie set up a Wii tennis tournament. We had a prize for the best tennis costume. Mom won that. I am sure the two pickle ball medals around her next and her visor helped. Some of us had never played before, and quickly were eliminated. We had trophies for the winners, Greg and Chads team took 1st. Kaden 1 and Kaden 2 took 2nd, and Susie and Rileigh took 3rd. So fun. We also had a smorgasboard of free pizzas thanks to Heather. They came from 3 or 4 different pizza places. What a fun idea. Thanks Sue!

Lunch with the Lundin Girls

Amy had us over to her house for a lunch with the ladies. It was so much fun. Susie is in town, and it was so good to get together, eat yummy food, and talk about old times. We'll have to do it again. We missed you Abby, Sherrie, Cathy, Laura, Tish, and Taisha. maybe next time.

Must Be Santa

Carly and Bode went to see Santa at our bank. He is such a cute and jolly Santa. My kids just love him. He lets them ask lots of questions and he answers them so creatively.

Nutcracker

We went to our annual tea party and Nutcracker. It was quite an adventure this year. After we took all of these fun pics, Hallie went running off and slipped on the wet floor. She fell and her tooth went through her lip. After a ton of bleeding, she finally sat down and enjoyed her first time to the Nutcracker.

La Ragelles Camp

Carly and Hallie did the La Ragelles Dance Camp this week. They went Mon.- Thurs. and learned a cute dance, and had the performance tonight. They were so cute. After it was over, they just couldn't stop dancing and spinning in the commons area. Oh, to be young.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

Carly looked so cute for school today. I thought she looked quite Chistmasy. When she got home, I talked her into taking a few pics. In case you haven't noticed, she is about the only one of my kids that I can bribe into taking pics of.

Trimming the Tree

We decorated the Christmas tree today. It took all day. When we plugged in the lights from last year, not one of them worked. ARGH! So I had to go back to Target to get more lights. Anyway, it turned out beautiful. I always have all white lights. It's so fun to have some red, too. Rileigh was a Grandma Wallis', so I will have to take some pics of her tomorrow. Kaden lifted Carly to put the star on the top of the tree. He had to stand in for Colby. Thanks, Kaden. We extra missed you today, Colby. Love you!

Happy Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving. We spent it with the Lundins. It's always so fun to see all of my cousins. It's crazy, living in the same town, you would think we would see more of each other.

Wrestling

Garrett is so busy this season. He has also been doing wrestling. He is pretty good, but he doesn't like it very much. I think if he had more time to practice he would enjoy it more. He put in quite an effort. Nice job.

Bug Collection

Kaden has been busy the last month and a half collecting bugs for a Biology project. He did a great job, and got lots of family members catching them for him. Our favorite was the Tarantula that Chad caught him. Nice job Kaden.
