Boot Camp '09
I was put in the Young Women Presidency as the 2nd counselor a couple of weeks ago, so I got to go Girls Camp with Rileigh. We went up the the Morley's cabin in Brianhead. WOW! Very nice! It was lots of fun. It rained a lot, and it was beautiful to watch through the huge windows. The girls favorite part was the tire swings. They had to go and play on them everyday.

Take Me Out to the Ball Game
Garrett's Baseball Team was asked to help with the opening of the Road Runners Opening Game Night. It was really awesome. They all got cool fitted hats and shirts with their team name, The Braves, on them. They got to hang out with the team, run on field with them, and listen to the Star Spangled Banner. Garrett got to go out to 1st base with A.J. Valentine. The girl from SG that was on American Idol sang, and we got pictures and autographs with her. Halfway through, it started to rain. Bill and Christina left and let us sit in their box suites the rest of the game. Thanks guys! What a fun night.

Boulder Mtn.
Colby and Chad went with a bunch of guys up to Boulder Mtn. camping and fishing over the long weekend. They had the horse and mules back their stuff in on the 2 mile hike. They made fun of Colby's 90 pound pack that he carried in. I guess all of the ruck marching in the Army paid off. They got drenched and caught tons of fish. They had a great time.

Carly's Dance Recital
Carly had her dance recital tonight. The title was, The Star Who Was Afraid of the Dark. It was really cute. She does creative dance. She was a storm cloud. I loved her black and silver costume. She knew her dance very well. She was the 1st to go to the next move everytime. She asked if she could have yellow flowers after her performance. I am glad that the only daisys they had left at Costo happened to be yellow!

FHE at the River
We decided for family night, it would be fun to go down to the river and take the dogs. It's been 95 degrees and we could all use some cooling off. Annie and Chad brought Chad's new love, Raja. They have been dog sitting and he fell in love with her. Everyone had a great time, even the swarms of gnats!
Hallie's Dance Recital
We got to go to Hallie's dance recital today. It was "Two Much Fun". That class was so cute. They dress up and have tea parties every week. I am so sad that Carly was too old to take that class. Way to go Hallie!! You were Marvelous!
