I took Carly, Garrett, and his friend Branson Ice Skating today. It was pretty fun. We were frustrated because since it was almost 70 degrees today, the ice wouldn't stay frozen. We had to leave and come back. We aren't super great ,since we only get to skate once or twice a year. We were getting the hang of it, though.

From the time that one of my relatives (Grandpa) helped build the SunBowl, and from all of the years playing football and watching the rodeo there, I would have never thought of putting ice there.
Although, filling an area with water, freezing it thus making it slick as snot, and trying purposely mind you, to move around in a circular pattern on something skinny and sharp that hates you, does not sound like my idea of fun anyway.
Give me beaches and warm water any day but Sunday!
